Sony dating game online
This is one of those rare games that I think I'll enjoy more on Twitch than playing myself.
In any case, while the game was supposed to be out on PS4 as well as PC, it appears that Sony has blocked the game's release.
is a dating advice game that barely qualifies as a video game to begin with. The game is the product of 'dating guru' and author, Richard La Ruina, and is more a series of choose-your-response live-action vignettes than an actual video game.
Super Seducer has been widely panned both for its sleaziness and, well, just for being a bad game.
Also, if you want to talk about censorship look no further than Richard La Ruina himself, who issued a DMCA takedown to censor a critical video of on You Tube.
“For many years, Microsoft has been a key business partner for us, though of course the two companies have also been competing in some areas,” Sony CEO Kenichiro Yoshida said.
“I believe that our joint development of future cloud solutions will contribute greatly to the advancement of interactive content.” “Sony has always been a leader in both entertainment and technology, and the collaboration we announced today builds on this history of innovation,” said Satya Nadella, Microsoft’s chief executive officer.
That's a pretty petty, loathsome, cowardly thing to do and should earn La Ruina nothing but scorn and disdain from the gaming community.
Here's Jim Sterling's take on that situation: sound-effect Dunkey added. I guess I just really don't see the appeal of pick-up artistry. The idea that some dating guru can instruct you in the art of picking up women is preposterous, and the fact that an entire community has sprung up around this is more than a little sad. (Watch hbomberguy's video on the PUA community for a great breakdown of why pick-up artists are so ridiculous.) I'm not saying we should censor pick-up artist blogs or burn their books or anything like that, but I do think bad ideas should be roundly and routinely mocked.
